+ Why is the program online?
NO more paper tickets to handle
Easier for everyone
With the old paper tickets, every ticket had to be tracked when sent out and accounted for when turned in. This required a lot of work for everyone.
Now - all the groups have to do to participate is sign up and promote the program to their supporters (Facebook, twitter, MySpace, email). Issued tickets are emailed.
For customers who do not want to order online-the DARs have a choice; they can be issued and use our numbered, carbon receipt forms, if they think it would help with sales. They will be filled out and turned in with payments for us to put into the program. It is easier for us to track the tickets, since they are not created until issued and emailed.
Easier to move tickets, easier to track tickets, - let the website do the work!
+ As a ticket seller, do I have to use an "official receipt" to sell a hard copy ticket receipt?
We will only accept the ticket buyer's information and payment for a ticket to go into the program on an official receipt form provided by us.

This year, a ticket buyer can go to the website and check to make sure their ticket made it in the drawing!
+ Why would I use the receipt forms?
If you feel the tickets would be easier to sell with the paper receipts available to give to the ticket buyer and not just the online option.

If you do not feel it is necessary to use the receipts - you can run your program all online.
+ Is there any way I can pick the teams on a ticket?
No - with the old paper ticket way, a person could shuffle through a group of tickets a seller would have with them to try and get some small advantage. Not anymore - The tickets are created and emailed as they are issued. Nobody sees the ticket until it is received by email.
+ If I lose my ticket, will I be able to get a copy?
Yes - when you are emailed a ticket - a copy is emailed to our archives. A reminder - this is a volunteer group and any reissuance of a ticket does cost us time and money – a donation would be appreciated!
+ How many tickets can be issued?
Using 32 different teams in unique 3 team combinations, the limit is 4,960 tickets.
+ What are the odds?
This is entirely dependent on the number of tickets issued. If all the tickets possible are issued, 1 in 4960 for the grand prize each week (Hey, it is a fundraiser!). Your chances improve with there being 17 tries at it - just not sure how much. Your chances of winning at least your money back if all tickets are issued is about 1 in 310. IF this would happen, we will have raised over $75,000 for the youth groups in our area and had a lot of fun while doing it!
+ How much can I win every week?
One time on every ticket you buy with a top prize of $500!!!!
+ What is the "score" of my ticket?
You add together the scores of the teams on your ticket and that is your "points" for the week. You can be the high or the low score of the week.
+ What about Bye weeks?
If your team has a bye week, you get its score from the week before.
+ How can I check my ticket?
Check it here or add the points for your team and check other high and low combinations. You don't have to check if you don't want to; all tickets are run through the program every week.
+ How do I get my winning check?
It will be mailed to you. That is why it is so important to have an address on your ticket form.
+ Can I get more than one ticket?
You can get as many as you want; they make great gifts.
+ Where can I get more info?
You can check out this website or talk to a 1-4 All committee member.
+ Is there an age limit to play?
No.
+ Can this ticket be issued outside the Henry County area?
Yep. However, your ticket will be void if your location prohibits raffles.
+ How much money from each ticket issued goes to the club I am supporting?
This depends on how many tickets are issued. The more tickets issued, the more profit for the clubs. Last year, student organizations received $9.50 per ticket issued. The year before, it was $7 (short season with the lockout). The first year, it was $15.
+ Can I get another ticket after the season has started?
Yes, you can. The tickets will not be discounted and you lose the chance at previous drawing(s).
+ What happens when there is a tie?
The levels are combined and the winnings are split between all winning tickets.
+ What groups can participate?
Any school club, class, group, organization or sport. Also any local community youth club or sport such as Scouts, 4-H, START or sports team.
+ I do not see the group I want to support on your list. Must they be signed up with your program for me to support them?
Yes. Talk to the teacher or coach of that group and ask them to contact us. It is free and easy to sign up!
+ I do not want to purchase a ticket online; is there another way to get a ticket?
Yes, look up the participating groups on this website and contact the DAR for the organization you wish to support.
+ What is a DAR?
Designated Adult Responsible- This is the adult who has agreed to lead and coordinate the program for a specific club, group or sport - usually when their child is involved.
+ How is the profit from tickets credited to the Cardinal Booster club handled?
The profits from tickets credited to the Cardinal booster club will be used to offset expenses of the program. This way, more of the profit from each ticket sold to support a specific organization will be credited back to them. In effect, a ticket supporting the booster club is supporting every student in every organization.
+ Can I see an example of how this all works?

How it works!

Unique combinations of 3 Pro Football Teams are pre-printed on each ticket for every week of the Professional Football Season.

A different set of teams is printed on each ticket for each week of the 17 week regular season. No two tickets are alike for any given week.

After each week's games are played, each team's score will be input into our computer program and your unique three team combination will be totaled.

The high and low point totals from all sold tickets are winners - 16 winners - $1,225 each week of the regular season.

Example

Your ticket for week one has Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and Tampa. They each score 52 points so your ticket has a total of 156.

You have the highest ticket total points scored and win $500.

For weeks 2 through 6, your teams do so-so and you do not win anything.

On week 7, you have Dallas, Houston, and Denver and they each get shut out, so your ticket has the point total of 0.

Your ticket has the lowest total points scored and you win $100.

......And so on....through 17 weeks of the Professional Football Regular Season.

Each week your teams change but your chances to win are the same each week.
